Ramadan

Ramadan is a time when the masjid opens its doors wider — to serve not just worshippers, but the wider community around us.

Support our Ramadan efforts

Ramadan services at Masjid Yusof Ishak are made possible through the collective generosity of the community.

Your contribution supports:

  • Daily iftar and sahur meals
  • Worship spaces and facilities
  • Community programmes and outreach

Every donation, big or small, plays a part in sustaining these efforts throughout the month.

In Ramadan 2025, here’s what your giving made possible

40,000+ meals served

Daily iftar meals, porridge, finger food, fruits, and drinks shared throughout the month.

50,000+ worshippers welcomed

Through daily Tarawih, qiyam, and tadarrus in a welcoming and supported space.

1,000 sahur meals provided

Sustaining worshippers through the last 10 nights of Ramadan.

600 families celebrated Eid together

Through our community feast on Malam Syawal, bringing families together in joy.

These efforts served neighbourhood residents, nearby hospital staff and families, needy households, and daily congregants who made the masjid their place of ibadah.

Daily Iftar & Community Outreach

Every evening in Ramadan, the masjid prepares for hundreds who break their fast with us.

From porridge and bento meals to additional food prepared for overflow crowds, our iftar service reaches far beyond the prayer hall — extending to nearby community spaces and partner locations.

This daily effort ensures that no one breaks their fast alone.
